Great Owl

From the backyard this morning. There are a pair of owls which really give the ravens hell that nest in the trees behind my house.

Update 10/19/09: The Owls have for over a week now taken over what used to belong to the Ravens. Today about ten Ravens approached to attempt to regain access to their nests...but to no avail. The Owls did not even have to move whatsoever. Apparently it was considered to be a battle already fought. The Ravens moved on. Even ten Ravens are no match for these two huge Owls.
